Working and volunteering
Volunteer
All that Fringe accomplishes is made possible by our volunteers, passionate members of our community who use their time and energy to support their local arts. You, too, can make a difference. Get involved with the Harrisburg Fringe Festival!
As a Festival Volunteer, you might be ushering for a performance, working at a box office, or helping backstage! The opportunities, like the art, are endless. Volunteers earn free tickets by signing up for shifts to help the festival.
And who is the perfect volunteer? Anyone who loves the arts ages 14 and up, as long as you have a passion and interest in creating a positive experience for our artists and patrons, we would love to have you! If you are interested, all you need to do is contact us at volunteer@hbgfringe.com.

All volunteers working at Family Fringe are required to submit two clearances: the PA State Criminal Background Check and the PA Child Abuse Clearance. These are free for volunteers and can be done online.
Clearances must be within the last two years.
If you need the clearances, please use the links listed below.
Pennsylvania State Criminal Background Check: https://epatch.state.pa.us/
• This site is free to volunteers.
• Do not use initials. Write out your entire name, including your middle
name.
• You do need to list everyone, and everywhere you have lived since 1975.
Do not worry if you don’t have every detail, but do the best you can. The
more information you provide, the more it will accelerate the process.
